Talia - The Last Bookstore, Downtown - Write

On Tuesday night I was privileged to take pictures of Jill Schary Robinson and the Wimpole Street Writers as they read from their hot-off-the-press anthology at The Last Bookstore. My writer friend, Talia, was the MC for the night as well as the editor of the publication. She opened the evening by eloquently reading the foreward she wrote for the book:
These pieces of writing - poems, prose, and screenplays - they keep you safe. They don't lead you astray; they couldn't if they tried. You're in good hands with these writers. Hands I would trust with my life.
You can catch another reading by this inspiring group of writers at Book Soup on February 2, 2012 at 7 PM. If you would like to purchase the book, email wimpolestreetwriters@gmail.com. Huzzah!

PS. More pictures from the evening at The Last Bookstore...
