I happened to run into Brian, a college friend, today in the square. Not only is he an extremely kind soul but I was impressed by his classy business casual. A pop of color, a nice sweater, slacks, shiny shoes and a cargo jacket make for a comfy but classy look.
Duy was jamming on the
berimau today with a friend. I have never seen this instrument before and it is absolutely beautiful. As you can see, it is a musical bow with a hollowed-out gourd to amplify the sound. Duy and his friend were in the zone and making a wonderful percussive sound.
